Made in the USA The Larson Electronics WAL-THT-2X500LTL-LED-100 Trailer Hitch Mounted LED Flood Lighting System is a telescoping tower that allows operators to elevate 1000 watt of LED lighting from 6` feet to 10` feet. The WAL-THT-2X500LTL-LED-100 comes complete with two IP67 rated 500 watt LED light heads producing 67,500 lumens each for a combined 135,000 lumens capable of illuminating an area 50,000+ square feet in size. This trailer hitch mounted mini light tower is equipped with two stabilization legs, 100` of 16/3 SOOW cable terminated in an industrial grade cord cap, and is universal voltage operating on 120-277V. This vehicle mounted LED light tower is ideal for use as work area illumination, event lighting, emergency operations lighting, or equipment lighting and is suitable for use on any vehicle that will accept a hitch mount. The WAL-THT-2X500LTL-LED-100 work area light tower provides operators with a very versatile lighting solution for operations where easily managed mobile illumination of large sized areas is required. This LED flood lighting system provides 50,000+ square feet of work area coverage with 135,000 lumens of light output. The hitch mounted light tower is telescoping, adjustable from 6’ to 10’ in height and incorporates a trailer hitch mounting system with stabilization legs that allows operators to easily secure the fixture to receiver hitch equipped vehicles at any location. Forty-eight Cree¨ high output LEDs producing 1406 lumens each are arranged in rows and paired with PMMA high purity optics to produce a well focused 24¡ wide spot beam that is ideal for providing far reaching concentrated illumination while still covering a substantial amount of area. We also offer optional optics with 10¡ spot, 38¡ narrow flood, 60¡ flood, and 90¡ wide flood beam spreads. The spot beams are tightly focused and are designed for high elevation mounting to achieve distance, making spot versions ideal for high mast and spot lighting. The flood beams are designed to provide more light over a larger area nearer the fixture, making flood versions ideal for use as dedicated work and area lights. This light tower system is designed for heavy duty use in demanding conditions including emergency services, mining, construction, marine, and industrial operations where durability and reliability is critical. This receiver hitch mount LED light tower is comprised of two adjustable LED light heads mounted atop a telescoping tower fabricated from light weight powder coated aluminum. This adjustable and collapsible tower can be extended to ten feet, collapsed to six feet, and includes two stabilization legs. The LED light fixture assembly can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the center support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted vertically and locked into position. This mounting system provides extremely secure placement of the tower in areas where high winds are commonly encountered. The weight of the vehicle in combination with the two stabilization legs removes the possibility of the unit swaying excessively or tipping over once deployed. The LED light head can be rotated 180¡ horizontally and pivoted 160¡ vertically after deployment to to illuminate the work environment. Lights: The lighting system on this unit is comprised of two GAU-LTL-500W-LED 500 watt LED lamps producing 60,000 lumens of light attached to the top of the mini light tower. These lights are ideal replacements for fragile and hot running 1000 watt metal halide lamps, offering increased durability, longer lamp life, and lower power consumption. The fixtures are IP67 rated waterproof. The LED assembly is comprised of multiple LED "strips" within the housing. This design allows for in-the-field serviceability without the need for special tools or equipment. Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current applied and emitting light. With LED lights, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking and provide instant illumination when powered on, adding to the reliability of LED technology. By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than traditional lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional lighting. Heat Management: Heat is the single largest factor in premature LED failure and color shifting. These LED units feature individual heat sinks per bank of six LEDs to control heat buildup rather than utilizing a single housing to dissipate heat. This allows for more thorough cooling of the LEDs for extended operating periods. This allows the LEDs to be driven at up to 90% capacity without overheating or visible loss of light output. The end result is more light with less heat and longer LED life with an average 70% lumen maintenance after 80,000 hours. In addition, should an LED failure occur, these LED flood lights are field serviceable. Each bank of six LEDs can be replaced with the fixture installed. This allows for the tower to stay in operation until repairs can take place, and eliminates the need to remove and disassemble the entire fixture for repairs. Durability: As well as unparalleled heat control, the GAU-HB-400W-LED-SS series of LED lights from Larson Electronics also offer IP67 rated construction that is designed to withstand extremes of environmental and operating conditions. These units can withstand rapid temperature changes of -40¡ Celsius to +80¡ Celsius, are waterproof, and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from die cast aluminum and the optics are high transmission PMMA with 98% light transmittance. The Cree¨ LEDs help these units achieve resistance to vibrations and are rated at 70% lumen maintenance after 80,0000 hours of use.
