The Larson Electronics ATEX-EPL-AE.EX-HB-90W-TRN Explosion Proof High Bay LED Light is approved for ATEX/IECEx rated environments. This LED unit is designed for installation in locations where flammable gases, vapors and liquids, combustible dusts, and/or ignitable fibers and flyings exist or have the potential to exist. Protected by a die-cast aluminum alloy housing, the IP66 rated fixture operates on 100-250V AC, 50/60Hz.

The ATEX-EPL-AE.EX-HB-90W-TRN hazardous area light is the perfect upgrade replacement for traditional metal halide lamps. Suitable for extreme temperatures, the flameproof LED light delivers a powerful 7,767Êlumens and high chromaticity for excellent color rendering while drawing only 90 watts. Designed with versatility in mind, this explosion proof hazardous area light runs on 100-250V AC, 50/60 Hz. The LED lamp is offered with the following beam angle configurations: 40¡ Wide Spot, 60¡ Narrow Flood, 120¡ Wide Flood or 85¡ x 135¡ Aisle Lighter.

Suitable for ATEX/IECEx rated sites, the explosion proof LED lamp is protected by a die-cast aluminum alloy housing with an epoxy resin powder finish for added durability. The lens is made out of toughened glass. All external hardware consists of stainless steel components.

LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation. Instead of using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied. With LED lighting technology, there is no warm up time or cool down time before re-striking. Rather, LEDs provide instant illumination when powered on, making them more dependable and convenient than halide or incandescent lighting methods.

By nature, LED light sources run significantly cooler than metal halide lamps, reducing the chance of accidental burns and increased temperatures due to heat emissions. This solid state design of light emitting diodes provides a more reliable, stable, durable, and energy efficient light source over traditional halide lighting. This internal driver provides the ability to automatically monitor and adjust input current to maintain the correct LED voltage levels regardless of input levels across a specific range. This not only reduces the energy dissipation, effectively lowering the operating temperature of the fixture, but also prevents AC over-voltage and short circuit loading making this fixture virtually maintenance free.

Hubs: Cable entry is facilitated by one M25 x 1.5 molded plastic hub with a stopping plug. This unit accepts a cable diameter range of 8-17mm (rubber coated and armored cable wiring) for connection to terminals.

Mount: This explosion proof high bay LED light fixture comes standard with a wall-mount configuration. This mounting component extends the fixture up to 2.75" from a flat, vertical mounting surface. Spacing between the mounting component and LED fixture`s fins, which are located at the back of the unit, streamline cool operation. This wall-mounting solution is ideal for illumination directly above busy sections of facilities, work areas, doorways and more. Additionally, the mounting configuration can facilitate accurate light placement over control stations, switchboards, panels and segregated sections of work sites.We also offer 25¡ stanchions, 90¡ stanchions, Trunnion bracket, and street light mount options.Ê
