This 8-watt LED unit provides 940nm infrared light with selectable flashing patterns. Weatherproof and extremely versatile, the compact LED light is IP67 rated and approved for use in saltwater locations. The LEDXSL-8W-IR-940NM is a superior infrared LED light for discreet vehicle identification, marking or paroling at night in rugged environments. This 8-watt light operates on 12-36V DC input (including commonly found 12V, 24V military vehicles, 12V civilian vehicles and 36V heavy equipment). The LED lamp assembly produces 940nm infrared light without the dark spots or uneveness of traditional incandescent beacon lights. This unit is paired with a specially designed clear optical lens for complete 360¡ x 210¡ coverage. Operators can change flashing patterns using a trigger wire. The LED driver is secured on the board, inside the unit. The LED is solid state and uses no filaments or glass in its construction, resulting in an extremely durable light that can withstand far more abuse than regular filament based beacons. The unit is IP67 waterproof rated and offers a wide variety of flash patterns that can be set by the operator. This LED light is saltwater approved and recommended for extreme environments.
