The Larson Electronics LEDB-VS9 is a powerful single strobing LED beacon that offers exceptionally brilliant and attention getting light in a small and durable package. This LED beacon works on 11 to 30 volts DC, offers a choice of colors, and provides a universal fit for all vehicles. The Larson Electronics LEDB-VS9 is available in a choice of red, blue, white, or amber colors and also has 30 different flash patterns to provide more options for department use. This LED beacon measures only 1 1/2 inches in diameter and 1 inch in height making it one of our smallest versatile LED beacons yet. It can be mounted through a 1`` hole and secured to a surface with four screws through the black aluminum base. The 8 Watt LED assembly is housed in a polycarbonate lens cover that is designed to efficiently distribute the flash over a 360 degree radius that is visible several thousand feet farther than competing LED strobes. Unlike typical beacons, this LED beacon light produces colored illumination without colored lenses or optics that can fade or discolor over time. The LED is solid state and uses no filaments or glass in its construction, resulting in an extremely durable light that can withstand far more abuse than regular filament based beacons. The LEDB-VS9 has a 0.6 amp draw at 13.8 VDC and can be operated with 11 to 30 volt DC current. The unit has a 15 foot cord with power, ground, synch and pattern selection leads.
