Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGS-3X480.80A-6X480.50A-2X480.30-75K-2X240.30A-5X120.20A-1X50A.240 heavy duty power distribution substation gives operators the ability to plug in three 60-amp, 480V devices, six 50-amp, 480V devices and two 30-amp devices into the receptacles attached to the primary panel. On the secondary side, operators can plug in five 15-amp or 20-amp, 120V devices and two 30-amp, 240V devices. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant maintenance, equipment installations and repairs. Click Images to Enlarge On the primary side, a 400-amp main breaker 480V panel provides protection for two 60-amp CS8449 receptacles (that will accept a CS8165 plug), six 50-amp CS8169 receptacles, two 30-amp L16-30 receptacles and the 75KVA 480-120/240 transformer. On the secondary side, a 200-amp main breaker 120/240 panel provides protection for five 20-amp, 120V, 5-20 GFI outlets (which accept 15-amp and 20-amp plugs), two 30-amp L16-30 receptacles and one 50-amp CS6369 receptacle (that will accept a CS6365C plug). The panels and transformer are NEMA 4 Rated. Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer and load assembly is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets, locking polyurethane casters, and a top located lifting eyelet which allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs.
