The 8 rubber bushings imbedded in the base mounting plate ensure that the light receives nominal vibration from the equipment it is mounted to. Combined with the fact that HID bulbs have no filament to break and the bulb life is rated at 3500 life hours, this durable HID equipment light is ideal for all kinds of heavy equipment. Furthermore, the bushings act as a beam stabilizer, where operators can use a beam that experiences far less "jiggle" than conventionally mounted lights. Finally, the high impact nylon housing is durable, flexible and lightweight. Light fixture weight is often the cause of the light`s demise in high vibration applications. By reducing the weight, but maintaining the strength with nylon, the light itself does not become an impediment to its own longevity.
