The Larson Electronics MGL-208.3P.30A.TWL-7.5KVA-230.460CT-1X230.2P.30A.TWL Temporary Power Distribution System converts single-phase 208V ACÊelectrical current into single-phase 230/460V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 208V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGL-208.3P.30A.TWL-7.5KVA-230.460CT-1X230.2P.30A.TWL portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 208V using 10` of #10 SOOW cord with an L21-30P cord cap. On the secondary side, operators may access 10` of #10 SOOW cord with an L7-30C connector for line-out connections.

Operation: A 10` #10 SOOW cord with a 30-amp 208V L21-30P cord cap brings 208V power to the NEMA 3R 30-amp, three-phase 208V primary disconnect, which contains two 30-amp time delay fuses, and passes single-phase 208V through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 7.5KVA transformer converts single-phase 208V power to single-phase 230/460V 60Hz and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer contains a NEMA 3R 30-amp, single-phase 277V Series C circuit breaker. This secondary side contains 10` of #10 SOOW cord with a 30-amp 277V L7-30C connector.

Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel tubing, dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two rubber tires and dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift eye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.
