The Larson Electronics MT-TX-DC-55V-6KVA-400V-15A-N4X Weatherproof DC to DC Step-up Transformer converts 55 V DC electrical current to 400 V DC at 15 amps max. This converter includes terminal block connections for input/output terminations. The unit takes 55 volts DC and converts it to 400 volts DC, allowing users to use 400 V DC power to operate equipment like our LED light bars and Golights. The MT-TX-DC-55V-6KVA-400V-15A-N4X features a stainless steel enclosure that is rated NEMA 4X.

The MT-TX-DC-55V-6KVA-400V-15A-N4X power converter provides a safe and effective way for users to tap into and utilize 55 V DC power sources and step up this current to 400 V DC. This unit can be operated with 55 V DC input current and will output 400 V DC current to power lights and equipment up to 6000 watts. The small size of this unit makes it ideal for indoor-outdoor operation of Larson Electronics LED light bars, Golights and other equipment that requires 400 V DC current in locations where 55 V DC power is readily available.

Features: The MT-TX-DC-55V-6KVA-400V-15A-N4X converter can be operated with 55 V DC. The unit converts this DC power input to 6000 watts, 400 V DC at 15 amps. This power device is equipped with a Class A/B EMC filter and utilizes fan cooling. The transformer is enclosed in a powder coated steel housing for durability. The power converter has a -40¡C to +65¡C operating temperature range. This converter is equipped with terminal block connections for input/output terminations. Operators can mount the unit on walls.

Enclosure: The enclosure on the MT-TX-DC-55V-6KVA-400V-15A-N4X is constructed from stainless steel and features a natural finish. The enclosure is rated NEMA 4X and IP65 weatherproof making it suitable for both indoor and outdoor applications.


NOTE: In order to obtain the best performance and the longest operational life from these units, it is recommended that you do not exceed 75% of the unit`s output amperage. To determine if this converter suits your desired application, add together the total wattage of the equipment you intend to use with this unit and divide this total by 400 volts to find the total amperage draw that will be placed upon the converter. Running these units at 100% of their capacity can create excess heat and lead to shortened converter life.
