Designed to replace T12, T8 and T5HO fluorescent lamps, the 55-watt unit emits 7,100 lumens of white light during operation. The 4-foot LED fixture is IP66 rated and suitable for marine/wet locations. Operators can mount the explosion proof unit on compatible ceilings or surfaces. The EPLC2-48-ITG-7K is a viable replacement for T12, T8 and T5HO fluorescent fixtures in flammable and rugged work locations. The 55-watt unit offers 7,100 lumens of white light with a wide, 120-degree beam spread. This explosion proof LED lamp incorporates a low profile design, catering to space-saving installations less than 3" in height. The 4-foot LED fixture operates on universal 100-277V AC or 108-250V DC. The EPLC2-48-ITG-7K is capable of withstanding up to 2,000 psi of high pressure hose. Constructed of copper-free aluminum, this explosion proof LED linear fixture is protected by a glass lens. The IP66-rated unit features a NEMA 4X housing and is suitable for Class I, Division 2; Class II, Division 1; and Class III Divisions 1 and 2 flammable work sites. Designed for marine and wet locations, the low-profile LED light is designed to operate within a temperature range of -40¡C to +60¡C. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Mounting/Wiring: The EPLC2-48-ITG-7K is compatible with ceiling or surface mount configurations. Two 3/4" NPT hubs can be used to complete mounting and connections to the explosion proof LED fixture. This unit may also be secured on poles, swivel mounts, chains and walls, using various mounting accessories.
