A borosilicate prismatic glass lens protects the LED light assembly and the die cast aluminum body reduces weight compared to larger metal halide and high pressure sodium fixtures. A special heat dissipating design in conjunction with LED technology helps this fixture to achieve an excellent 100,000 hour rated lifespan with 80% lumen retention. A 52 lbs weight and low profile make this unit an attractive and energy efficient alternative to larger and heavier older light fixtures and requires less hardware to install.The GAU-HB-500W-LED-480V features a grey housing that is powder coated for extreme durability.
