The Larson Electronics MPD-CD2-BSF-YE45YT-GC-12.N10-M1 temporary power distribution system converts three-phase 480V AC electrical current into three-phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power.

The MPD-CD2-BSF-YE45YT-GC-12.N10-M1 temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 480 volt, 208 volt and 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480 volt line-in power via 150` of #2 SOOW cord and to one 520R7W receptacle for 480Y/277V equipment. On the secondary side, operators connect to one 4100R12W and one 530R9W receptacles for 208Y/120V equipment, as well as to twelve duplex GFCI receptacles for 120V equipment. There is also 30` of #12 SOOW cord on the secondary side for 208Y/120V output connections.

Operation: A 150` #2 SOOW line-in cord brings three-phase 480V AC power to the primary side, which contains one 60-amp 3-pole 480V breaker and one 20-amp 3-pole 480V breaker protecting one 20-amp 520R7W 480Y/277V receptacle, and passes power through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 45KVA transformer converts 480V to three-phase 208Y/120V 60Hz and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 125-amp, three-phase 208Y/120V main lug only panel. This secondary panel contains one 30-amp 3-pole 250V breaker protecting one 100-amp 4100R12W 125/250V receptacle, one 30-amp 2-pole 250V breaker protecting one 30-amp 530R9W 120/208V receptacle and twelve 20-amp 1-pole 125V breakers protecting twelve 20-amp duplex GFCI 125V receptacles. Operators may also access one 20-amp 1-pole 125V breaker and one 30` #12 SOOW cord on the secondary side for output connections.

Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard steel cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two rubber tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift eye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Larger units are available upon request and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted.

Certification: All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.
