Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL-XL-480.3P-30KVA-208Y.120-8X120 Temporary Power Distribution System converts three phase 480V ACÊelectrical current into three phase 208Y/120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use The MGL-XL-480.3P-30KVA-208Y.120-8X120 portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 120 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 480V line-in power via 20` of #8 Type W cord with a 60-amp 460P7W cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to two MS3452W22-2S, two MS3452W22-2SW, two MS3452W22-2SX, one MS3452W22-2SY and one MS3452W16 receptacle for 120V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with waterproof covers. Operation: The 20` #8 Type W line-in cord with a 60-amp 460P7W cord cap brings 480V three phase power to the NEMA 3R 60-amp 480V three phase primary disconnect, which contains three 40-amp time delay fuses, and passes power to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 30 KVA transformer converts three phase 480V AC to three phase 208Y/120V AC 60Hz and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 60-amp three phase 208Y/120V main circuit breaker panel. This secondary panel contains two 35-amp 1-pole 125V breakers, one 30-amp 1-pole 125V breaker, four 20-amp 1-pole 125V breakers and one 15-amp 1-pole 125V breaker protecting two 46-amp 2800V rated MS3452W22-2S receptacles, two 46-amp 2800V rated MS3452W22-2SW receptacles, two 46-amp 2800V rated MS3452W22-2SX receptacles, one 46-amp 2800V rated MS3452W22-2SY receptacle and one 23-amp 2000V rated MS3452W16 receptacle. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard steel cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. A center point lift eye allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4x equipment can be equipped upon request.
