Made in the USA The Larson Electronics WAL-SL-51-12.4-NL Work Area Lighting String Light is designed for tempoary illumination and daisy chain connections across the job site. This work site light set accepts ten lamps up to 100 watts per lamps to provide high quality lighting where standard lighting is not available. LED lamps are not included with this fixture, they are sold seperately. This work area string light consists of ten molded lamp sockets and plastic guards with 10 feet of 12/4 SJTW cable between each unit, stretching a total of 510` in length. This temporary string light is connected to power via an integrated 5 foot cable terminated with a standard L22-20C and L22-20P twist lock connectors. Each globe can be equipped with a LED, compact fluorescent, or incandescent lamps up to 100 watts. Each lamp light screws into a molded E26 lamp socket and the bulb is enclosed in a bird cage style plastic guard. Lamps are sold seperately. 100 Watt Incandescent Bulb 10 Watt LED Bulb Each light includes a yellow plastic mesh guard enclosure that provides protection for the enclosed bulb and a hook eyelet with a s-hook that allows operators to hang these tasks lights overhead. Utilizing energy efficient LED lamps, operators are able to provide more light coverage from the same amp draw, or lower the amp draw using the same amount LED lamps as incandescent. This trouble light has an effective range that approximately covers a 5-8` radius with 10-15 foot candles of light when LED lamps are used. Unlike fragile incandescent and compact fluorescent lamps that are made from glass, these LED bulbs are extremely durable and can live up to the abuse of harsh working conditions. With a lamp life of 50,000 hours, operators are not constantly having to replace burnt out or broken lamps, reducing down time and lowering the amount of spare lamps required at the job site. Multiple stringer sections can daisy chained together via 5` whips terminated in twist lock connectors, with a maximum of ten stringers daisy chained together when equipped with 10 watt 277V LED lamps. Alternating hots along between each daisy chained unit allows these string lights to be connected together, spanning over a mile in length. Previously, it would have been unrealistic to have a complete assembly reaching 510` in length from a single point of power. The LED-A19-10-E26 directional 10 watt LED lamp provides down lighting to effectively illuminate the area below where the string light is mounted, whereas our omni-directional LED-A19-10-E26-SML 10 watt LED lamp provides the same light distribution as a standard 100 watt incandescent. Both LED lamps draw 1/10th the electricty as a standard 100 watt rough service lamp while providing 30% more light output, increased durability and reliability, and achieving a 50,000 hour lamp life. This Work Area Lighting String Light is configured to operate with 277VAC. 120V and 240V models are available. This Work Area Lighting String Light is suitable for wet areas, extremely long lived, resistant to damage from impacts and vibrations, and consume far less energy than standard lamps.
