Made in Texas The VMP-FSD-F250-2007 from Larson Electronics is an Aluminum Vehicle Mounting Plate for any light with a permanent mounting base, including spotlights, flood lights, strobe lights, beacons, warning lights, signal lights, flashers, turn signals, brake lights, hunting lights, fishing lights, off-roading lights and so on. This lightweight mounting plate allows operators to mount lights and other equipment with permanent mounting bases on their trucks without drilling into the body of the truck. This mounting plate allows operators to drill holes wherever they want for permanent mounted lights and other equipment and can support lights of up to 20 lbs. The VMP-FSD-F250-2007 features a 24" by 8" aluminum mounting surface, is compatible with 2007 model year Ford F250 Super Duty aluminum body pickup trucks and offers operators a convenient mounting location for any permament mount light and for applications including hunting, fishing, off-roading and security. The VMP-FSD-F250-2007 is constructed in Texas from durable aluminum for the frame, brackets and the mounting plate surface. This mounting plate has been designed for 2007 model year Ford Superduty pickup trucks and offers operators a sturdy and reliable platform to deploy permanent mount lights of any type such as spotlights, strobes, beacons, hunting spotlights, signal lights, security lights and warning lights, on the top of their truck for optimal performance. The VMP-FSD-F250-2007 is installed via the rear cab lights and has a weatherproof seal on the back side for secure, dry installation and protection against scrapes to the body of the truck. The mounting plate requires absolutely no drilling for installation and is powder coated for added durability, can support up to 20 lbs and is offered in a black, white, or grey finish. The VMP-FSD-F250-2007 also features a windload okay for highway speeds. (User provided equipment may vary.) Installation of Lights/Equipment: Prior to installing this mounting plate on a compatible truck, operators can decide where they want their permanent mount lights and other equipment to be mounted and drill the appropriate holes in the aluminum mounting plate. Once the holes are drilled, the light or other piece of equipment can be mounted to the plate. Then the entire assembly can be mounted to the truck via the third brake light as explained below. Truck Installation: The VMP-FSD-F250-2007 is easy to install and requires absolutely NO drilling to mount to the truck. This mounting plate installs via the 3rd brake light on 2007 model year Ford F250 Super Duty aluminum body pickup trucks pickup trucks between the body of the truck cab and the light. Operators simply remove their 3rd brake light, position the mounting plate bracket and reinstall the light through the bracket. 3rd Brake Light Camera Option Without Camera With Camera Having a reverse camera in the third 3rd brake light (NOT in the tailgate or bumper) will change the mounting bracket design.
