Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL15-1X208.3P.30-2X208.2P.30-12X120.20A temporary power distribution system converts three phase 208V electrical current into three phase 208Y/120VAC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 208VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and Use: The MGL15-1X208.3P.30-2X208.2P.30-12X120.20A portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 208 and 120V equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect 208 volt using a 30` #8 Type W line-in cord. On the secondary side, operators connect to one, L15-30R receptacle for three pole 208V equipment, two L6-30R receptacles for two pole 208V equipment and twelve 5-20R GFCI duplex receptacles for one pole 120V equipment. Operation: A 30` #8 Type W line-in cord brings three phase 208V power to the NEMA 3R 60-amp 208V three phase primary disconnect, which contains three 50-amp time delay fuses and passes 208V three phase through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15KVA transformer converts 208V three phase power to 208Y/120V three phase and passes the current to the secondary side. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 100-amp 208Y/120V three phase main lug only panel. This secondary side contains one 30-amp 208V 3-pole breaker protecting one 250V L15-30R receptacle, two 30-amp 208V 2-pole breakers protecting two 250V L6-30R receptacles, and twelve 20-amp 125V 1-pole breakers protecting twelve 5-20R 125V GFCI duplex receptacles. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Protective Construction: Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat rubber tires and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150KVA and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request. Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground. ~Please check all motor loads for dual rated motors that will work 208 or 240.~ Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits and shipyard operations.
