Made in Texas The EPL-LED-150LED-RT-LV-BC-RPS-C1D1.C1D2-M1 Explosion Proof Battery-powered LED Fixture from Larson Electronics is ideal for illuminating combustible locations and remote industrial facilities. This lighting system consists of an explosion proof 150-watt LED lamp, twelve 40aH batteries wired in 24V output, external battery charger and inline disconnect. The explosion proof LED light offers 10 hours of runtime at full charge. The EPL-LED-150LED-RT-LV-BC-RPS-C1D1.C1D2-M1 is a complete battery-powered lighting solution for illumination in combustible sites. An explosion proof 150-watt LED lamp provides 17,500 lumens of white light with a color temperature rating of 5,000K. Featuring a flood beam pattern, the low voltage unit can accommodate wide spaces. The explosion proof light is constructed of cast aluminum with a hardened borosilicate glass lens. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. LED lights run at significantly cooler temperatures than traditional metal halide and high pressure sodium lights and contain no harmful gases, vapors, or mercury, making them both safer and more energy efficient. No extra energy is wasted in cooling enclosed work areas due to external heat emissions from bulb type lights, and the operator risks associated with traditional lighting methods, such as accidental burns and exposure to hazardous substances contained in the glass bulbs, are eliminated. Solid state LED lighting is also safer for the environment as LEDs are 100% recyclable. And recycling simultaneously reduces operating costs by eliminating the need for the expensive special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Battery: Twelve, 12V batteries wired to 24V output offers 10 hours of runtime per full charge. The batteries are protected by a Class I, Division 2 rated hazardous location enclosure. This system comes with an external, non-class rated/general area battery charger for charging the batteries outside of the hazardous location. Wiring: The EPL-LED-150LED-RT-LV-BC-RPS-C1D1.C1D2-M1 ships with a Class I, Division 1 inline disconnect between the fixture and the battery box. This allows the batteries to be charged seamlessly outside of the hazardous location. Mounting: The explosion proof fixture features a trunnion bracket with bar clamp mount. Applications: Paint spray booths, aircraft maintenance, oil drilling rigs, refineries, solvent and cleaning areas, gas processing plants, chemical manufacturing, waste treatment plants, agricultural sites, grain storage facilities and more.
