The Larson Electronics DCP-11-24V Constant Voltage/Current LED Driver is an AC to DC power converter for LED lighting systems and low voltage equipment. The 150-watt unit accepts 90V AC to 305V AC or 127V DC to 431V DC input voltages and provides 24V DC output (+/- 10% adjustable). Constructed of metal, the IP65-rated device supports an estimated lifespan of 62,000+ hours and a fanless design. The DCP-11-24V provides a safe and effective way for operators to convert AC to DC voltages for low voltage systems, including LED fixtures. This 150-watt unit features an input voltage range of 90V AC to 305V AC or 127V DC to 431V DC @ 47-63 Hz. Low voltage 12V DC is provided on the output side @ 6.25 amps (maximum). DC output is adjustable by +/- 10%, based on the rated output voltage. Protective mechanisms include the following: short circuit, overload, over voltage and over temperature. Featuring 91.4% efficiency, the AC to DC constant voltage/current LED driver comes with an estimated lifespan of 62,000+ hours. This power converter is constructed of metal and features a fanless design for natural cooling. The unit is equipped with an IP65 waterproof rating, making it suitable for indoor, outdoor and wet locations. The small size and wide input voltage range of this device makes it ideal for operating Larson Electronics LED light bars, Golights and other equipment that requires 12V DC current. NOTE: In order to obtain the best performance and the longest operational life from these units, it is recommended that you do not exceed 75% of the unit`s output amperage. To determine if this converter suits your desired application, add together the total wattage of the equipment you intend to use with this unit and divide this total by 24 volts to find the total amperage draw that will be placed upon the converter. For example, if you are using our LEDP10W-60E 60 watt LED light, 60 watts divided by 24 volts is 2.5 amps. This would mean the DCP-11-24V is well suited as it would run at slightly less than 50% capacity to produce the necessary 2.5 amps. Running these units at 100% of their capacity can create excess heat and lead to shortened converter life. Wiring: The AC to DC converter comes with stripped flying leads at the input and output for completing electrical connections. The input side contains a blue, green and brown wire. The output side features a red and black wire. Mounting: The DCP-11-24V can be mounted on compatible surfaces via four slots located at each corner of the unit.
