This portable LED light has a removable LED light head mounted on top of four leg aluminum quadpod for high stability and easy positioning of the unit from one area of the workspace to another. The LED light head on this unit produces a wide flood pattern, and features a flat surface mount bracket for temporary mounting of the head onto walls or ceilings. This light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas such as tanks and containers and is suitable for hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. The non sparking, adjustable and collapsible quadpod can be extended to seven feet and collapsed to four feet while two solid rubber wheels allow the operator to tilt the unit back and simply roll the entire assembly to a new location. The explosion proof LED light fixture can be removed by releasing the hand knob and sliding the light and mounting bracket off of the quadpod support while the legs can be collapsed, aiding in deployment, storage and transport. The lamp can be easily adjusted up, down or from side to side and locked into position. Included with this LED light quadpod is 100 feet of SOOW cord which combined with 90 degrees of tilt offered by the LED light head provides an effective alternative to often cumbersome explosion proof string lights. The lamp housing on this quadpod is weatherproof and constructed of die cast aluminum featuring a hinged, removable front-access door with two captive closure screws for easy servicing and heat/impact-resistant tempered flat door glass. This hazardous location light contains thirty CREE XLamp XPG¨ five watt LEDs producing 493 lumens each. These LEDs are arranged in rows and paired with high purity optics to produce a 60 degree flood beam while only drawing 1.25 amps on 120V, making these units ideal for use as highly efficient yet powerful work and area lights. The HAL-QPW-1X150LED-100 Quadpod mounted hazardous location LED light is an ideal replacement for fragile and hot running 400 watt metal halide floodlights. The LED light head on this unit measures 15 inches in width, 11 inches in height, and 14 inches in depth which allows it to fit through most standard size manholes and entry points. The LED light head can be removed from the quadpod, the quadpod collapsed, and the entire assembly passed through a manhole and reassembled once inside. This unit is also multi-voltage capable and can configured to operate on 120-277 volts 50/60 Hz. This LED light head retains 80% of its lumen output after 50,000 hours of use, far longer than incandescent or fluorescent lamps.
