Made in the USA The Larson Electronics SPLT-.53K-LM15-EW-ISGG-ACC-2XN3B-PW-TLR7 Solar Equipment Tower provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy cameras, security devices, and other equipment to elevations up to 15 feet. This fixed mast features a rotating boom that allows for 360¡ of rotation and a removable mast head for storage when not in use. This low-noise unit features two 265-watt solar panels and a 400 aH capacity battery bank with 200aH being usable. A waterproof electronics enclosure, backup gas generator and 120V battery charger can be found at the base of the mast. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* This trailer mounted light mast with solar generator has a 12" x 12" x 6" junction box mounted at the top of the mast for connecting cameras and other devices. The junction box is ideal for mounting security cameras for a 360¡ field of view along with other electrical devices for each operator`s specific needs, such as small sensors and monitoring devices. The top mounted junction box is mounted to the mast head via a half-moon shaped mounting plate. External sealtite coiled tubing runs around the mast to allow operators to run Ethernet cable to the junction box at the top of the mast. The tubing connects the junction box and base solar component box together. The entire assembly is mounted onto a 7.5` single axle trailer, allowing operators to transport this portable solar light tower from location to location. Solar Powered Light Tower: This continuous-operation solar light tower includes two 265 watt solar panels, solar charging system, battery bank and electric mast mounted on trailer with outriggers. This 0.53 KW solar generator system replenishes amp hours of usable battery capacity per day, assuming 5.5 hours of peak charging sunlight. This system delivers 12 volts for equipment mounted atop the 15` telescoping light mast. Light Mast: This telescoping three stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 15` for effective coverage. This light boom can be extended to 15` for maximum area coverage and collapsed to 7.5` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a lower section 70.25" in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, middle section 73.75" in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and an upper section 78.75" and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 2` minimum overlap. The mast is elevated by pressing down on the end of base stage, elevating the mast into the upright position. The mast is extended to its full height using an included 12V electric winch with 3/16" galvanized cable. A 36" wide and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick mounting plate is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for light fixtures and equipment. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistance and aesthetics. This light tower can easily support and lift equipment up to 125 lbs. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. Four 1,000 lb hand crank leveling jacks are used for leveling. The jacks can be leveled by hand crank or attachment provided for power drills. These outriggers can be extended 2` out from the side of the trailer for added stability. When lowered to 7.5`, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. Custom builds can be provided for higher wind speed resistance when fully raised. Solar Panel Assembly: This unit is comprised of two 265-watt solar panels, generating a total maximum output of 0.53 KW. The panels are mounted to a stationary assembly. The panels are wired to the solar charger control box which manages the charging system. The two solar panels are mounted to a frame angled at 45¡ to capture the intensity of the sun for optimized light intake. Operators may also access a battery charger that operates on 120V AC. This component enables the batteries to be recharged via 120V power sources. Component Control Center: All the electrical components are encapsulated in a NEMA 3R job box that is bolted to the trailer. Since most of these components are not rated for high heat, our component cooling system circulates air within the job box at 1400 CFM when the ambient temperature exceeds 90 degrees Fahrenheit. The job box that contains the component control system includes locks for security purposes. Backup Gas Generator: A backup gas-powered generator is available on the system, which automatically starts when battery voltage drops below acceptable levels. Powered by a 4-stroke OHV single cylinder engine with a forced air cooling system, this unit features a variety of receptacles, including four 120V 20A three-prong receptacles, one 120/240V 30A twist-lock (L14-30), and one 120V 30A twist lock, as well as one 12V DC cigarette lighter style car-charger outlet. A 6.5-gallon fuel tank provides 9 hours of reliable power at half load and the ability to run electronic devices including lights and other essential appliances needed during power outages. This heavy-duty genset also has low-oil shut down safeguards, which protect the generator from damage by automatically shutting it off, while an integrated circuit breaker protects against system overload. An included digital hour counter keeps users on a routine maintenance schedule. This gas powered genset also features power indicator lights that notify operators if the outlets are live. These lights are located above each receptacle to make these visual notifications clear. For additional protection, this generator has an included spark arrester, which prevents flammable debris from expelling from the generator by trapping and destroying them. This protects against potential fires that may occur during operation, allowing this unit to meet the standards required by the U.S National Parks and Forests and be used at campgrounds and other outdoor areas. Additionally, an automatic voltage regulator helps this unit produce much cleaner power. Trailer Assembly: The entire assembly is mounted to a 7.5` by 7`, single axle trailer via six 1/2" anchor bolts. The two wheel trailer is equipped with 3,500 lbs axle and leaf springs with 15" trailer tires. A standard 2" ball coupling, two standard safety chains, and 7-pin flat trailer plug allow for easy hookup and towing. The trailer tongue can be removed for long term deployment. A rugged and waterproof job box is included, safely secured to the trailer. Four outriggers mounted to the corners of the trailer allow operators to level the trailer, and provide stabilization during deployment. All trailer lighting complies with DOT/FMVSS regulations. |
