Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGL-220V.3P-EM-15KVA-415V.3P-EM-1X50A temporary power distribution system converts 220V AC single phase electrical current into three phase 415V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 220V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* The MGL-220V.3P-EM-15KVA-415V.3P-EM-1X50A temporary power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their single phase 220 volt and three phase 415 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect single phase 220 volt line-in power via a customer provided cord and to one 3100B6W 220V inlet. On the secondary side, operators connect to one GW62242H 415V receptacle for 415V three phase equipment. Both primary and secondary voltages are monitored via watt-hour meters. Operation: A customer provided line-in cord brings 220V single phase power to the electronic phase converter, which contains one 220V 100-amp 3100B6W inlet, and passes 220V three phase through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15 KVA transformer converts 220V three phase power to 415V three phase and passes the current to the secondary panel. The secondary side of the transformer feeds a NEMA 3R 30-amp 480V three phase circuit breaker enclosure. This secondary circuit breaker enclosure contains one 415V 32-amp IEC 60309 receptacle. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a powder coated steel, dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat rubber tires and a dolly cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility, and a center point lift point allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150 KVA and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request. Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground. ~Please check all motor loads for dual rated motors that will work 208 or 240.~ Applications: This power distribution system is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
