Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGL-480V-15KVA- 240V.120-1X60A temporary power distribution system converts three-phase 480V AC electrical current into three phase 240D/208-120V AC. This unit provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480V AC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. On the primary side, operators connect 480V line-in power via 25` of #10 SOOW cord with a NEMA L16-30P cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to one, 60-amp 560R7W receptacle for three-phase 277/480V equipment. Operation: A 25` #10 SOOW line-in cord with a 30-amp twist-lock L1630P 480V cord cap brings 480V AC power to the NEMA 3R 30-amp 480V three phase primary disconnect, which contains three 25-amp time delay fuses and passes 480V three phase through to the transformer. The NEMA 3R 15 KVA transformer converts 480V three phase power to 240D/208-120V three phase. The 15 KVA transformer contains one, 60-amp 277/480V 560R7W pin/sleeve receptacle, which is protected with a weatherproof cover. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. For even more stability, the MGL-480V-15KVA- 240V.120-1X60A features a rear-mounted kick stand that can easily be deployed when the unit is in the desired position. This kick stand increases the stability of this unit so that the risk of it being knocked over or falling down are almost completely eliminated. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
