This LED light is a great solution for the deaf and otherwise hearing impaired individuals who struggle to know when someone is at the door due to lack of a visual cue when the bell is rung. The GAUSB-CRNM-LED10W-MOD1 operates on standard 120 V household current and accepts 24 V doorbell circuit current. Operators or installers simply run low voltage wire from the doorbell alarm to the light to complete the input signal circuit. The GAUSB-CRNM-LED10W-MOD1 is UL 1598 rated. The powerful and durable GAUSB-CRNM-LED10W-MOD1 strobing LED doorbell signal light from Larson Electronics is ideal for providing a visual cue that a visitor is at the door by way of a flashing LED strobe light that activates upon the doorbell button being pressed. The lamp housing is waterproof, constructed of corrosion and chemical resistant polycarbonate with Pyrex globe, USCG accepted, ABS Type approved, and NEMA 4X compliant and suitable for hose-down areas. This LED lamp has a 50,000 hour operational life. Lamp: The 10-watt LED lamp used in this unit produces nearly 3 times the illumination of incandescent lamps as measured in foot candles, at less than 1/10th of the electricity usage and without the associated heat. This LED drop light runs at operating temperatures of 55¡F, greatly reducing the chances of accidents or burns commonly associated with incandescent drop lights. This lamp has no ballast, which reduces lamp weight, a steel globe guard, and a stainless steel hook for easy overhead mounting. The solid state LED bulb has no filament, making it resistant to damage from impacts and dropping. This hand lamp has a high efficiency LED bulb that requires no ballast.
