The MPD-GDS2-X-D2-EPP.100AMTS-DE0-ZZ-M1 from Larson Electronics is an Explosion Proof Portable Power Distribution Generator Docking Station that is designed for reliable, safe, and convenient power distribution at industrial work sites. This 100-amp unit provides three-phase 480 V AC Delta power via a main circuit breaker panel. The power distribution panel provides operators the ability to safely tap into and distribute 480 V AC Delta power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. The MPD-GDS2-X-D2-EPP.100AMTS-DE0-ZZ-M1 is equipped with two input whips and a transfer switch to change between main line power to generator power.

The MPD-GDS2-X-D2-EPP.100AMTS-DE0-ZZ-M1 power distribution panel provides a safe and reliable way for operators in industrial settings to tap into and utilize power sources independently of the work area. Two 10' 4/4 SOOW input whips terminated in UL 1686 pin/sleeve EXP, 3P4W, 100A cord caps are available for three-phase 480 V AC Delta input connections on the primary side. The secondary side contains one UL 1686 Pin/Sleeve EXP, 3P4W, 100A switched receptacle for three-phase 480 V AC Delta connections. Operators can switch between main line power and generator power using the manual transfer switch.

Operators bring three-phase 480 V AC Delta line-in power to the primary side of the system using two 10' 4/4 SOOW input whips terminated in UL 1686 pin/sleeve EXP, 3P4W, 100A cord caps. The primary side features a 480V 3PH 100A MTS Panel C1D1. The secondary side has one UL 1686 Pin/Sleeve EXP, 3P4W, 100A switched receptacle.

Enclosure Design: This power distribution panel is housed in a space-saving NEMA 3R enclosure for protection against dust, dirt, and moisture in indoor and outdoor locations. Constructed of steel, the unit's slim, rectangular profile is compatible with panel mounting configurations. A lockable opening deters the possibility of tampering. We also offer similar power distribution panels on dolly carts with wheels, powder coated cube frames with lifting eyelets/skid pockets or stand-alone with handles for faster turnarounds and completion of temporary tasks.

Certification: This unit is NRTL listed for UL508A. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.

Grounding: Transformer is grounded to the frame and we provide a grounding lug on the frame for the earth ground.
