Eaton Pneumatic emergency landing gear blowdown systems
Eaton's pneumatic emergency landing gear blowdown systems are used to unlock, lower and relock the main landing gear structure in the down position providing a backup method of landing gear actuation when primary hydraulic landing gear systems fail. In the event of a failure of the landing gear hydraulic system, nitrogen gas contained within the storage vessel is distributed to the landing gear through the connected manifold assembly. These systems offer reduced weight and size, zero leakage and safe, reliable performance.
