Eaton Aerial refueling hydraulic motor controller
EatonÕs aerial refueling hydraulic motor controller, powered by 28VDC, facilitates communication between the tankerÕs aircraft computer and aerial refueling fuel pump system over an ARINC 429 data bus.
The controller in combination with a servo valve and flow meter in the pump control manifold regulates the hydraulic flow to match the tanker computer requirements. The controller also reports hydraulic flow, pressure and fueling pump system health back to the tanker aircraft computer.
Additionally, the controller includes an emergency stop function that bypasses the feedback loop to shut off the pump.Ê
