This superior product is a fully automatic submersible bilge pump with a built-in water sensor that activates when the water level rises and turns off when the water is gone. If the sensor becomes fouled, there is a backup feature to stop the pump from running dry; in this case, the pump switches to a 2.5-minute cycle mode. It will not only prevent damage to the pump from being run dry, but it will also save the vessel's battery power. Smaller Vessels can benefit from their compact size, and the sturdy plastic body includes a fast-release inlet strainer for quick cleaning. The pump also has air vents in the body to help prevent air locks in challenging installations and backflow protection via a non-return valve at the outlet to lower the amount of water that remains in the bilge.
