The extra space created by the plinth is closed off by using these panels in order to restrict access to this area. Feature: a pair of painted steel plinth side panels to secure single or bayed plinths for mild steel floor standing enclosures Advantage: the side panels close the sides of the single or bayed plinths securing the extra space created between the installation floor and enclosure's bottom plates Benefit: the side panels protect the extra space created underneath the enclosure Comment: side panels can be used to improve the rigidity of bayed plinths however cables cannot pass through them easily, however to optimise the rigidity of the bayed plinths then plinth combining profiles PCP, should be used instead
