Wire Guard Lens Protector for Explosion Proof Fluorescent Lights 2 inch square pattern in aluminum mesh lens cover for the explosion proof fluorescent lights. Each wire guard is secured to the aluminum housing on the EPL-48 fluorescent and LED series, protecting the Pyrex enclosure tubes from accidental damage. Each wire guard protects a single 2 lamp fixture. The EPL-48-4L series requires 2 mesh guards for each light to cover all 4 Pyrex tubes. In our design, the Pyrex tubes are sealed to the aluminum housing. The T-series fluorescent or LED tube lights are sealed within the enclosure created between the aluminum housing and the Pyrex tubes. In applications, where operators may come into contact with the light fixture, wire guards can prevent tools or other objects from damaging the Pyrex tubes. Fixture sold separately
