Made in Texas The Larson Electronics TX-7500VA-480.220-1X30A power transformer steps down 480VAC to 220VAC and is ideal for powering 220V single phase based lights and equipment. This transformer features a 480V circuit breaker on primary side and a 220V receptacle with weatherproof flip cover on the secondary side. The TX-7500VA-480.220-1X30A temporary portable stepdown transformer from Larson Electronics is built to provide operators with a reliable means to step down commonly found 480VAC to 220VAC while also providing the versatility of allowing operation of standard voltage equipment. This portable power distribution transformer is designed for portability and convenience as well as durability. Featuring an elevated base platform for protection from standing water and weatherproof construction, the TX-7500VA-480.220-1X30A is ideal for powering 220V equipment and lighting in construction, entertainment, job-site, marine, and outdoor locations where 480V generators are providing the power. This portable transformer features one 250V 30A L6-30R receptacle that provides sealed and secure connections for one device. The maximum wattage for all receptacles is 7500W. In addition, the receptacle provides 220V for powering high voltage lighting and equipment without the need for running additional extension cords. The receptacle features a hinged watertight cover protecting the face from rain, water, and moisture when not in use. The housing on the TX-7500VA-480.220-1X30A is constructed from powder coated steel with a NEMA 3R enclosure rating. The angled base and low center of gravity ensure this low voltage transform does not tip over when in the field. The entire unit is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. The assembly is mounted atop four swivel polyurethane casters, two standard swivel and two locking swivel, aiding in transportation within the job site. A top located push handle allows operators to guide this unit through the workspace. The TX-7500VA-480.220-1X30A portable distribution system converts primary 480VAC into 240VAC secondary voltage via 10` of 12/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cable that is terminated in a blunt cut end. A 20A breaker on the primary side protects the 7.5 KVA transformer. Secondary voltage is distributed via the one 250V 30A L6-30R receptacle. A top located cord management system allows operators to roll up line-in cord when not in use, and roll up the extra slack in the power cable during use.
