Made in the USA The SPLED-CL1B-WR from Larson Electronics is a Solar Powered LED Beacon with Wireless Remote Control Operation that is a Class I, innovative lighting solution suited for applications requiring a high visibility strobing beacon capable of stand alone operation. This unit is visible for more than a mile and offers 30 different strobing patterns. This unit can be seen during the day or night. The included wireless remote control allows operators to turn the unit on or off from a range of up to 100 feet. This Class I, Solar Powered LED beacon (strobing) light produces a brilliant strobing flash that is visible for distances of up to one mile. A 14.4 watt LED strobe light is powered by two 8 aH sealed lead acid batteries that are automatically recharged during daylight hours by a 30 watt solar panel. The 30 watt solar panel recharges the batteries in 5 hours with direct sunlight and can power the beacon for 12 hours with a full charge. As with all solar powered equipment, charging time is affected by the amount of available ambient light. When ambient light levels drop below a certain level, such as on very cloudy days, the unit will not recharge. This solar panel is configured to operate by remote control. Operators can turn the unit on or off from up to 100 feet away using the include wireless remote control. This provides operators with complete control of when the beacon is on or off which is ideal for situations that only require the beacon for specific periods of time. Wireless Remote: This unit features remote control operation that allows users to turn the beacon on or off at the touch of a button. Remote operation is provided by one handheld wireless remote controller that operates over a radio frequency of 433 MHz. This remote includes an internal 12 volt battery rated at 1 year of operation and a single red LED to indicate remote control activity. The remote controller has a range of up to 100 feet and will operate through walls, within structures, and in vehicles. The remote is constructed of polycarbonate with rubber push pad buttons for weatherproof durability. Remotes are 3 inches long by 2 inches wide by 3/8 inch thick. The sealed lead acid battery pack is contained within the solar panel, not the light. The mounting apparatus is designed to allow a variety of mounting options including flat surfaces such as a wall and square or round pole mounting. The beacon is connected to the panel by a 20 foot SOOW cord that provides flexibility for positioning of the solar panel and beacon into their respective optimum locations independently of each other. The waterproof beacon with this unit has a black powder coated die cast base that contains a fully potted circuit board. A clear polycarbonate lens protects the LED assembly and the housing is waterproof, shock resistant and built for reliable and durable operation. The beacon consists of an LED lamp that draws only 1.2 amps and is capable of producing 30 different strobing flash patterns that are visible for more than one mile. The Class I, LED beacon offers several different mounting options. A standard 100 lb grip magnetic mount, 1" NPT pipe mount and a surface mount option.
