This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. Operators connect 208Y/120 line-in power via a 200-amp MIL-DTL-22992 pin connector (customer provided). The 200-amp main breaker protects the panel`s breakers. This portable panel is equipped with two 100-amp 208Y/120 breakers, which protects two 100-amp 208Y/120 MIL-DTL-22992 sleeve receptacles. Wiring: The MGP series of portable power distribution panels require operators to provide their own line-in cables for use. Knockouts are provided for convenient installation of operator provided cables. Power: The main load center is protected by a 200-amp load center with main breaker for circuit protection. The load center is mounted within a NEMA 3R enclosure. The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
