The EPL-LPBS-5FT-70LED-100 Portable Explosion Proof LED Light from Larson Electronics is rated Class I Divisions 1 and 2 Groups C & D and Class II Divisions 1 and 2 and uses a compact LED light head to produce 5,800 lumens of light while drawing only 70 watts. The tower on this LED light measures 5 feet tall and the light head is mounted 4 feet off of the ground. The EPL-LPBS-5FT-70LED-100 explosion proof LED light provides operators an easy to maneuver LED work light for use within hazardous locations. This portable LED light is mounted to a 5` pivoting four leg aluminum base and has a low profile C1D1 LED light head. The LED light head on this unit, mounted 4 feet off the ground, produces a brilliant flood pattern of light that is ideal for illuminating enclosed areas and hazardous locations where flammable vapors, gases and dusts may be present. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. This explosion proof LED light fixture is comprised of a 70 watt low profile LED light head mounted atop a 5` tall base stand fabricated from non sparking aluminum. The lamp, which is mounted 4 feet off the ground, can be easily adjusted up or down 90 degrees and locked into position by simply loosening the two hand screws located on either side of the light head and retightening them once the desired angle is found. The light frame assembly features a carrying handle on the top for easy transport, and a hand screw at the base allowing operators to pivot the top frame assembly on the four leg base stand.
