Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGS-75KVA-8X120-2X240-WC power distribution system enables operators to tap into 480V power and use their single phase 240 volt and 120 volt tools and equipment. With 200-amp service on the secondary side, operators can choose between eight 5-20 GFI outlets at 120V or two L6-30 outlets at 240V applications. This portable power distribution system enables operators to connect a 20` cable to their 480V power source. The 200-amp NEMA 3R disconnect protects the NEMA 3R 480V to 120/240V transformer. The transformer passes power to a 200-amp main breaker secondary panel. The 200-amp main breaker protects eight 20-amp, 120V breakers and two 30-amp, 240V breakers. The breakers are protecting eight 120V GFCI 5-20 receptacles with watertight covers and two 240V L6-30 receptacles with watertight covers. Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. The entire frame is powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets and a top located lifting eyelet which allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer’s needs. This unit is weatherproof and ideal for use in applications including but not limited to; plant maintenance, welding stations, trade shows, exhibits and marine applications. These units are popularly used in locations where external power sources are often necessary and work well in combination with generators or grid power.
