This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into commonly found 120/240VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power. This unit provides an effective power distribution system for operators performing plant turnarounds, maintenance and cleaning in hazardous areas, equipment installations and repairs, and any activities requiring an alternative to native power sources. This portable spiderbox is designed to operate with 120/240V 60hz. The power distribution system on this portable substation makes 120V available via six 20A, 125V GFCI protected 5-20 duplex and 240V available via one 30A and one 50A, 250V twist lock all with waterproof receptacle covers. 5-20 120V, GFCI Receptacle Breaker Panel 30 Amp Receptacle 50 Amp Receptacle Cord Reel Side Profile Description: 15` of #6 Type-W line-in power cord is included to connect the substation to a primary 240V primary power supply. A single ground lug provides the ability for operators to ground the pannel via grounding rod. This power distribution system conforms to UL 1640. 120V line out protection is provided by six 20A, 125 Volt, 1P breakers, one 30A, 250V, 2P breaker, and one 50A, 250V, 2P breaker. Connection for 120V is through receptacles mounted on the side of the load center. Receptacles include six 5-20 20A 125V, GFCI waterproof duplex receptacles, one L6-30R 30A 250V, twist lock receptacle, and one CS8269 50A 250V, twist lock receptacle. The load center is mounted within NEMA 3R enclosure. The distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution spiderbox can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Full power distribution units are available up to 150kva and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is NEMA 3R rated and ideal for indoor/outdoor use and applications including but not limited to; construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, hazardous location operations, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
