The GAU-EMG-24-2L-LED-2X6C-L5.15.WP Industrial Fluorescent Light Fixture from Larson Electronics is designed to handle the rigors of wet and corrosive marine environments. This 48-watt fixture features two, 2` fluorescent lamps and comes equipped with battery backup, which provides 90 minutes of emergency runtime. Operators may access 6` of 16/3 SOOW cord with weatherproof cord caps at the input/output ends of the fixture for daisy chain configurations. The GAU-EMG-24-2L-LED-2X6C-L5.15.WP is recommended for use in wet areas and saltwater-marine environments where corrosion resistance is critical to equipment longevity and safety. Equipped with two, 2` fluorescent lamps this unit operates on universal 100-277V AC. When in use, the light provides 4,000 lumens of white light with a color temperature rating of 5600K. This 48-watt lamp can be daisy chained with other compatible fixtures during installation. The industrial fixture is constructed of non-corrosive materials including a polyester housing reinforced with glass fiber, a poured in gasket for reliable sealing and an impact resistant acrylic diffuser. Corrosion resistant plastic latches secure the lamp cover to the housing and provide a firm lock against the poured in seal to prevent drips and water intrusion. This fixture carries a UL 1598A outdoor marine rating and meets US Coast Guard specifications. Emergency Backup: We have added a battery backup unit that adds emergency light functionality to the fixture. This emergency light will run the standard UL suggested 90 minutes after power is lost. The light recharges the battery once electrical power is restored. Standard configuration includes a single emergency ballast that will run a single lamp at 900 lumens for 90 minutes. This emergency light fixture features an external test switch to allow operators to do routine checks of the emergency operation. This unit features L5-15P and L5-15C weatherproof cord caps. Surface Mounting: Flange type aluminum mounts attached at each end of the fixture enables it to be simply secured to any surface. The mounting holes are 14.91" inches on center apart along the top of the unit and 9.5" inches on center across the top of the light. Pendant Mounting: This light fixture can hang from the ceiling suspended by rigid pipe. For this mounting configuration, operators will bring rigid pipe down to the unit.
