The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. This UV system caters to 3,500 square feet of space with full, 360 degrees of coverage. Cooling fans below the lamps keep the unit running optimally. There is a delay of 1 minute and 30 seconds at startup for clearing the area after activation. Measuring 68.5" x 14.5" x 14.5", the slim cart can pass through standard regulation public transit aisles in buses, planes, trains and fleets, without needing to lift or elevate the unit (other disinfection devices on the market are bulky and are unable to fit through aisles). One UV sanitation cart covers 5-6 rows of 2x2 seats per session. Operators may move the cart around after exposure time to disinfect several sections. This unit is made out of 304 stainless steel and features spring-loaded lamp sockets, which makes it easier to switch out lamps.
