Area - 120V, 304 Stainless Steel - Remote/50' Cord This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The Larson Electronics IND-UC.360-48-8L-UVC-V1-AT.WR-KT-MOD1-50C is an Industrial Portable UV Sanitation Cart which can disinfect 99% of viruses, bacteria, mold, and spores in large facilities. This unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (254nm peak) and comes equipped with eight UVC fluorescent lamps. Capable of disinfecting an entire room, the 304 Stainless Steel UV system comes with 50' of 16/3 SOOW cord, wireless remote and a safety kit (two goggles and four safety signs). *Please note: This product produces UV light. Peak emission is 254nm. ¥ The UV light source is of sufficient intensity to reduce the population of SARS-CoV-2 by a factor of 1,000 within 15 minutes on walls of an empty space of size 12 foot by 12 foot with a 10 foot ceiling. ¥ The unit is transportable by one individual either by pushing (i.e. wheel mounted); and the unit does not exceed 200 lbs. ¥ The unit is capable of passing through a doorway 26 inches wide and 80 inches tall without disassembly. ¥ The unit contains features and accessories that minimize manual repositioning requirements, as is the ability to operate multiple MLUs in a space. ¥ The unit has a standard 120V AC, 60 Hz power interface. The unit is compatible with shipboard ungrounded power systems with characteristics as defined in MIL-STD-1399 Section 300-1. ¥ Units with autonomous operation have an occupancy sensor to automatically turn off the UV light when an occupant is sensed. ¥ In autonomous operation, this unit has a method to turn on either after a time delay to allow the operator to leave the room, or upon a remote command from the operator exterior to the room, whichever the operator chooses (both included). ¥ In autonomous operation, this unit has a method to turn off after a time-delay, or upon remote command from the operator. A means shall be provided to allow the operator to know that the UV light is off and it is safe to enter the room. ¥ As the UV light source contains mercury or other hazardous materials, the unit has means (such as secondary containment) to prevent a hazardous material spill, should the UV light source break or means to minimize the probability of the light source breaking (such as a guard). The IND-UC.360-48-8L-UVC-V1-AT.WR-KT-MOD1-50C is a powerful sanitation solution for industrial sites and commercial facilities. Equipped with eight UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers 114.4 watts of total output, within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm peak). The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. This UV system caters to 3,500 square feet of space with full, 360 degrees of coverage. The light source is capable of providing intense UV light that reduces the population of SARS-CoV-2 by a factor of 1,000 within 15 minutes on walls of an empty space measuring 12-foot by 12-foot with a 10-foot ceiling. Cooling fans below the lamps keep the unit running optimally. A delay of 1 minute and 30 seconds at startup is available for the operator to clear the area or leave the room after activation. Alternatively, an included wireless remote can be used to activate or deactivate the device outside of the room. Operators may move the cart around after exposure time to disinfect several sections. This unit is made out of 304 stainless steel and features spring-loaded lamp sockets, which makes it easier to switch out lamps. A wire guard protects the UV lamps from tampering or accidental bumping. Two safety goggles (not full face masks) and four safety signs (to warn individuals about ongoing UV sanitation) are included with the light. With a recommended 20-25 minute exposure time for viruses, multiple carts can be purchased to cover larger areas quicker. The UV light can disinfect over 99% of bacteria, viruses, mold, and spores. The unit is compatible with shipboard ungrounded power systems with characteristic as defined in MIL-STD-1399 section 300-1. 5-15 Straight Blade Plug 15 Amp / 125V Rated L5-15 Twist Lock Plug 15 Amp / 125V Rated Flying Leads / Pigtail Wires Wiring/Plug: This unit is equipped with 50 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 5-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 110V wall outlets with ground or NEMA L5-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 125V twist lock outlets. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. For best results, the light should be setup in the middle of the area. Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation.
