With access to eight 30-watt UV lamps, this unit offers UV-C output at a range of 200nm - 280nm (253.7nm). The 304 stainless steel disinfection box comes with a timer, external indicator light, and an automatic shut off safety feature. ***PLEASE NOTE: UV-C light can cause temporary or permanent loss of vision, and temporary acute redness or ulceration (mild to severe sunburn) to exposed skin. Equipped with eight UVC fluorescent lamps, this system offers UV output, within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (253.7 nm). The lights have an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emit a flood beam pattern. These lamps are arranged for maximum exposure, with two 30-watt UV lamps per side (including two lamps at the back of the door). Inside the box, the UV system offers 360 degrees of coverage. The unit has a wire shelf inside the box for mounting of devices. With a short exposure time at full capacity, multiple devices can be purchased to clean several tablets or phones at the same time. Single tablets can be cleaned in as little as 2 minutes, whereas a single phone can be cleaned in 1 minute. Operators may access a timer on the box to ensure the recommended duration of exposure (1-30 mins) is met every session. An external indicator light notifies individuals when the box is on and sanitation is ongoing. A wide front-facing hinged door that spans the length of the box provides access to the unit (the door folds downward). An automatic shut off safety feature cuts power to the system when the door is open. This system is constructed of 304 stainless steel for durability. The box does not have a coating to ensure reflection of UV light inside the unit.
