1600W Industrial UV Sanitation Room - (2) Doorways - (10) UVC Induction Lamps - Timer This unit is Made In USA - Manufactured in Texas The IND-SB-2WB-R1-UVC-IDC-10X150W-1227 Larson Electronics Industrial UV Sanitation Room serves as a dedicated disinfection area for pallets, large containers and equipment in industrial sites. This 1,600-watt system features ten UVC induction lamps and two doorways for faster processing. Powered via an electromagnet to reduce the risk of gas leaks associated with fluorescent lights, the walls are polished for maximum UV exposure and thorough sanitation. ***PLEASE NOTE: UV-C light can cause temporary or permanent loss of vision, and temporary acute redness or ulceration (mild to severe sunburn) to exposed skin. To prevent exposure, do not operate the device in any application that allows UV-C light to be visible during operation. NEVER LOOK DIRECTLY AT THE BULB OR DISINFECTING TARGET ZONE. DO NOT touch bulb with bare hands. The oils in your skin will damage the lamp. Fingerprints will result in reduced performance and significantly reduce the lifespan of the lamp unless they are removed with alcohol. Please read instruction manual for UV safety requirements before operating.ÊUVC light in the proper setting kills up to 99.9% of viruses, mold, spores and bacteria.ÊClick here to learn more about UVC and the corona virus* The IND-SB-2WB-R1-UVC-IDC-10X150W-1227 is a powerful disinfection solution for pallets and large containers. Equipped with ten, 150-watt UV induction lamps, this disinfection room can hold pallets up to 48" wide x 60" long x 80" tall. The lights provide UVC output within the 200nm - 280nm range. During use, the unit emits UV light in a flood beam configuration. Polished walls maximize UV reflection for thorough sanitation. This mercury-based germicidal lamp operates on single-phase 120V or 240V AC and does not contain electrodes. The lamps have a 100,000-hour useful lifespan, making the unit a long-lasting solution in work sites. Operation: This UV unit contains two doorways at the entrance and exit for efficient, one-way processing of large equipment. To use the system, operators open the first door and place their pallet or container inside. An accessible timer can be used to increase or decrease the duration of UV treatment (exposure time). Individuals may monitor the duration of UV treatment via a digital readout. Indicator lights notify when the system is safe to open and when it is in use. An emergency-stop switch on both doors allows operators to deactivate the unit. After UV disinfection, the second doorway can be used to remove the sanitized pallet or container from the disinfection chamber. This UV fixture is a Risk Group 3 UV product. UV radiation from the unit can damage the skin and eyes without proper protection. Operators should avoid exposure to the eyes and skin when the unit is unshielded (for use in enclosed environments only). In the event of lamp breakage, it is recommended to ventilate the room for 30 minutes and clean the area with gloves (not a vacuum cleaner). Contents should be stored in a sealed plastic bag and brought to a waste/recycling facility. Note on Lamps: Induction lamps are similar to high-intensity discharge lamps. There is a glass bulb filled with gases, and an external ballast. The difference in the technology is, unlike metal halide or high pressure sodium that create an arc between two electrodes to ignite gases, induction lamps generate light from an electromagnetic interaction with the gases. This magnetic reaction with the gases provides a more energy efficient product and a longer lifespan over traditional high intensity discharge lamps. Additionally, there is no warm-up time generally associated with high intensity discharge lamps. Induction lamps provide instant-on light output similar to LED technology. The combination of induction lamp technology and UVC output provides the high output from high intensity discharge lamps with the instant-on, long life span, and energy efficiency of LED technology. Mounting: The IND-SB-2WB-R1-UVC-IDC-10X150W-1227 can be deployed in facilitiesÊas a standalone UV sanitation room. Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation. Please see user manual for additional safety information. Applications: Germicidal, industrial, sanitation, pallets, containers, packaging, manufacturing, warehouse, delivery, processing and more.
