Click here to learn more about UVC and the coronavirus* The IND-HVAC-ACS-FUVC-EX-R1-DE-36-1L-XB is a powerful sanitation solution for AC condenser coil cleaning. This high output UV coil system projects ultraviolet rays inside the coil it is mounted in. The light prevents bacteria and other types of buildup from accumulating on the coil, resulting in cleaner air, less maintenance, and better long-term HVAC performance. The bolt-in kit comes with mounting hardware needed during installation. Equipped with one 48", 150W T8HO UVC fluorescent lamp, this system offers 33.24 watts of UV output within the 200nm - 280nm UV-C range (254 nm). The light has an expected lifespan of 8,000+ hours and emits a flood beam pattern. The included power supply features an indicator light with an L-bracket for installation with the ballast. One UV warning label is available for installation outside of the HVAC system (extra stickers can be purchased at an additional cost). We offer optional vertical support kits for vertical lamp installations, as well as an optional UV shield for protection from UV rays and viewing port. Before and After UV Treatment on AC Condenser Coils Operation: The UV lamps must be installed inside the AC handling units. AC coils are known to be dark and humid, making the areas prone to bacterial growth, mold, mildew and other harmful microbes. If left untreated, the microorganisms can cause diseases, allergies and odors. The UV lights address these issues by eliminating growth from AC condenser coils and drain pans. This solution also reduces time spent and costs on HVAC maintenance. Cable: The IND-HVAC-ACS-FUVC-EX-R1-DE-36-1L-XB comes with a 10' cable for connection to the ballast. We offer units with cable strain relief, cable extensions and door interlock switch at an additional cost. Mounting: The IND-HVAC-ACS-FUVC-EX-R1-DE-36-1L-XB is designed to be secured on AC coils using included mounting hardware. Our mounting kit includes the following parts: (4) sheet metal screws, 1/2" pipe clamp, lamp mount clips, (2) stainless steel L-brackets and (4) black zip ties. We offer models with mounting magnets for seamless mounting, 12" stand-off bracket and stainless steel tubing (may come with additional cost). Note on Environment: Sunlight and visible light fixtures do not impact the effectiveness of the disinfecting on this UVC sanitation product. Metal halide, high pressure sodium, fluorescent, and LED light fixtures can be left on. The UV radiation emitted from this product is not disrupted by any type of lighting in the environment. Put simply, NO it DOES NOT need to be dark in the area you plan to disinfect. The UV radiation is harmful to the eyes and skin, and that is why you should not be in the area while it is in operation. Please see user manual for additional safety information. Applications: AC sanitation and disinfection.
