Made in the USA The LM-HA-30-9-5S-FM-KT from Larson Electronics is a Five-stage Light Mast that provides a safe and effective way for operators to quickly deploy lights, security cameras and other equipment to heights up to 30 feet. Constructed of steel, the hydraulic mast is powered by a hydraulic ram (base stage) and a chain system (for other stages), with all hydraulic components included for a complete light tower solution. Operators are provided access to a sturdy mounting plate at the top stage of the tower. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO LIGHT MASTS OR LIGHT TOWERS* The LM-HA-30-9-5S-FM-KT is a telescoping five stage steel light mast from Larson Electronics that is designed to allow operators to quickly and safely deploy lighting, cameras, and other electrical equipment in locations where this equipment must be elevated to heights up to 30` for effective coverage. The light boom can also be collapsed to 9` for applications where a smaller footprint is required. The tower is constructed of square steel tubing with a base section 6.6` in length and 6" by 6" by 3/16" thick, lower section 6.78` in length and 5" by 5" by 3/16" thick, middle section 6.93` in length and 4" by 4" by 1/8" thick, upper section 7.08` in length and 3" by 3" by 1/8" thick, and top section 7.58` in length and 2" by 2" by 1/8" thick. Each section has a 1`+ overlap. The LM-HA-25-10-3S-FM-1.5KLB-KT is elevated using a hydraulic ram and chain system. The base stage is raised via a hydraulic ram. The other stages are then raised via a chain system that is triggered by the action of the hydraulic ram. No manual winch is required at any point of the elevation process which makes operation convenient and seamless. Separate hydraulic controls are needed for syncing with other masts. The LM family of telescoping towers feature a proprietary mast guidance system, which provide increased stability during high winds. When lowered to 9 feet, the mast can withstand winds up to 125 mph. When elevated to its full upright position, the mast can be rotated a full 360¡. By loosening the T-Handle, operators can rotate the mast with easy in either direction. The mast can be positioned in one of four different directions, and locked back in place by re-tightening the T-handle. The mast itself spins freely with easy, and can typically be rotated with a single hand. The LM series of towers are powder coated with glossy blue finish for corrosion resistances and aesthetics. These light masts are typically mounted to trailers or other stable surfaces via a 15 inch by 13 inch, 1/4 inch thick mounting base-plate which has been drilled to accept six 5/8" anchor bolts. A 52" long mounting plate constructed of 2" by 2" by 1/4" thick carbon steel is attached to the upper section of the mast which provides a strong and stable platform for equipment. This light tower weighs approximately 600 lbs, can easily support and lift 150 lbs fixtures. The entire tower assembly is shipped via common freight carrier and when shipped measures approximately 16.5 feet long, 4 feet wide, 5 feet tall and weighs approximately 1,200 lbs. Larson Electronics can custom tailor these units to the customer’s requirements with longer sections and larger mounting plates.
