The Larson Electronics HLO-EX-30A-3P4W-600V.3P Three Phase Hazardous Location Receptacle is a Class 1, Division 2 and Class 2, Divisions 1 & 2 rated receptacle approved for use in hazardous environments where flammable or explosion gases, vapors, or dusts stand the potential to exist and where flammable dusts, fibers, or flyings exist. This 3-pole, 4-wire outlet is designed to provide a secure connection for electrical equipment within the hazardous location. This receptacle is certified for NEC, CEC, ATEX, and IEC Ex rated hazardous locations.This hazardous location 3-pole 4-wire receptacle is compatible with our HLP-EX-30A-3P4W-600V.3P hazardous location power plugs. This outlet is rated for 30 amps and is suitable for Class I, Division 2, Class II, Divisions 1 & 2, Zones 1 & 2, and Zones 21 & 22 locations. With NEMA Type 3, 4, 4x and IP66 ratings, this plug is suitable for outdoor, marine and wet location. This hazardous location plug features polyamide construction, a 30 amp current rating, and is operates on 600V AC 3P. This receptacle is coded black to indicate its voltage rating and ground pin position of 5. The color coding of these units makes it impossible to connect different voltages and current ratings, to ensure safe power connection.This single phase receptacle contains a 20 horsepower disconnect switch. The circuit cannot be energized until the plug is inserted and the switch is turned to the on position, and an interlocking switch mechanism feature prevents accidental removal of the plug from the receptacle during operation. The switch can be padlocked in the on or off position.This hazardous location outlet features polyamide construction and a maximum voltage rating of 250V AC @ 50/60 Hz.
