Made in the USA The EXP-LED-SL-10 from Larson Electronics is an Intrincically Safe LED Flexible Snake Light that can run for up to 24 hours continuously and provides a convenient task light solution for use in hazardous locations. This LED snake light is rated for Class I Division 1 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous areas. The EXP-LED-SL-10 produces 11 lumens of high-intensity white LED light that is capable of illuminating objects up to 24 meters (~48 feet) away. With a flexible neck providing 14" of reach, this LED snake light is ideal for illuminating objects in narrow spaces and other confined areas. This LED snake light produces 11 lumens and can run for up to 24 hours continuously on a single set of batteries. This light is rated for use in Class I Division 1 Groups A, B, C and D hazardous locations. The EXP-LED-SL-10 has a compact size and long run time that gives operators in hazardous locations a ready source of light any time it is needed. This flexible snake light has momentary blink and constant on operation capability and includes a durable pocket clip for easy carrying in any shirt pocket. LED Benefits: Unlike gas burning and arc type lamps that have glass bulbs, LEDs have no filaments or fragile housings to break during operation and/or transportation. Instead of heating a small filament or using a combination of gases to produce light, light emitting diodes (LEDs) use semi-conductive materials that illuminate when electric current is applied, providing instant illumination with no warm up or cool down time before re-striking. Because there is no warm up period, this light can be cycled on and off with no reduction in lamp life. In addition, LEDs are also safer for the environment as they are 100% recyclable, which eliminates the need for costly special disposal services required with traditional gas burning and arc type lamps. Power for this snake light comes from 3 "AAAA" alkaline batteries and the high intensity 5mm LED is impervious to shock while providing an operational lamp life of 100,000 hours.
