Made in the USA The Larson Electronics HLE-AEB-SS-24.16.8-2XTB.78-2XM25.M32.M63 explosion proof enclosure provides operators with a Class I and II, Division 1 and 2 cast aluminum enclosure designed to hold electrical equipment up to 24" by 16" by 8" in size. This explosion proof enclosure is ideal for indoor or outdoor applications where flammable vapors, gases, or dusts exist or stand the potential to exist. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO EXPLOSION PROOF ENCLOSURES* The HLE-AEB-SS-24.16.8-2XTB.78-2XM25.M32.M63 explosion proof enclosure is constructed of stainless steel, is equipped with stainless steel hinge and bolts, and includes a watertight gasket for a NEMA 4X protection rating. The internal cavity of this enclosure measures 24" in length by 16" in width by 8" in height and is equipped with bi-directional removable mounting lugs for flexibility during installation. This junction box also features a twodin rail-mounted terminal strip with 78 screw clamps. There are two M25 cable glands, two M32 cables glands and two M63 cable glands all on the south side. Gland plates are also located on the west and east side as well. This junction box features concealed hinges with removable hinge pins and a door that is interchangeable and easily removable. Ground/earthing studs are located in the cover, as well as through the wall of the box. The sturdy 14-gauge box construction helps prevent bending or permanent deflection of the walls when field installing openings. The raised DIN rail mounting allows for excellent air flow under terminals which greatly reduces heat build-up. The bi-directional bolt on the mounting lugs helps this junction box to maintain NEMA Type 4 and IP66 protection, and the sloping top helps to channel rain, snow, ice and dust away from the top of the box.
