Compatible with 220V 50 Hz, the ATEX/IECEX rated unit offers 90 minutes of emergency backup during power failure. Two explosion proof 12-watt LED fixtures provide reliable illumination, while an explosion proof emergency exit sign is available below the explosion proof battery enclosure. The EXP-EMG-EXT-LE8-3L-220.50HZ is a complete emergency system for flammable work sites and hazardous locations. The ATEX/IECEX rated unit consists of a one-sided explosion proof LED exit sign, two 12-watt LED lights and a sealed lead acid battery pack for emergency operation during power failure. An explosion proof enclosure holds the electrical components at the center of the 220V system. LED Lamps: Two 12-watt LED fixtures emit a total of 2,640 lumens and are available in two lighting configurations; spot and flood. The spot configuration features a 10¡ beam that measures 800`L and 140` W. The flood configuration throws a 40¡ beam that measures 300`L and 225`W. An adjustable pendant mount mechanism allows operators to control the direction of the beam by tilting the unit towards the desired target. The units are rated NEMA Type 3, 4, 4X, 7 (B,C,D) and 9 (E,F,G) and designed to withstand the rigors of demanding environmental and operating conditions while remaining lightweight and easy to use. These units can operate in temperatures of -40¡ Celsius to 60¡ Celsius, are waterproof to 3 meter and resist ingress of dust, dirt and humidity. The housings are formed from extruded aluminum and the lenses are unbreakable polycarbonate. The LEDs offer inherent LED resistance to shocks and vibrations. The EXP-EMG-EXT-LE8-3L-220.50HZ comes with an explosion proof exit sign located at the bottom of the enclosure. This explosion proof emergency LED exit sign light fixture features brown-out, short circuit and voltage surge protection and has a low voltage disconnect which prevents damage to the battery caused by a deep discharge. This self-testing LED fixture will run for at least 90 minutes after a power failure. Battery: The EXP-EMG-EXT-LE8-3L-220.50HZ is supported by a maintenance-free sealed lead acid batteries that provide an emergency runtime of at least 90 minutes. This emergency system uses a high-efficiency two-stage charger that features precise float voltage control as well as low voltage disconnect protection. The recharge time on the included batteries is 24 hours. Mounting: This explosion proof unit can be mounted on compatible surfaces.
