The Larson Electronics EPL-HL26-220V-25 Hazardous Area Compact Fluorescent Drop Light is rated for use in Class I Division 1 Groups C and D areas - and is ideal for general work activities in hazardous locations requiring explosion proof protection. The EPL-HL26-220V-25 is equipped with a 220 V AC compact fluorescent light bulb.

This 26 watt explosion proof compact fluorescent work light from Larson Electronics produces 1,700 lumens of fluorescent illumination and comes complete with 25 feet of explosion proof cord. The EPL-HL26-220V-25 fluorescent drop light ballast is contained within the compact fluorescent bulb assembly while the housing is constructed of non sparking aluminum. This hazardous location hand lamp is Class I, Divisions 1 and Class II Division 1 hazardous location environment approved. This explosion compact proof fluorescent drop light is ideal for hazardous work areas where a ready source of easily managed lighting is desired.

This 26 watt fluorescent light is suitable for use in areas where petrochemical vapors and various dusts are present and projects 1,700 lumens of light, roughly equivalent to a 100 watt incandescent bulb. This unit is rated Class I, Division 1 and is complete with 25` of SOOW 16/3 AWG cord ending in a choice of 220 V cord caps.

Wiring/Plug: This hazardous area compact fluorescent drop light is equipped with 25 feet of 16/3 chemical and abrasion resistant SOOW cord that is fitted with an industrial grade cord cap for easy connection to common wall outlets. Plug options include standard 6-15 15 amp straight blade plug for 220-240 V wall outlets with ground, standard 6-20 20 amp straight blade plug for 220-240 V wall outlets with ground, NEMA L6-15 15 amp twist lock plug for 240V twist lock outlets, NEMA L6-20 20 amp twist lock plug for 240 V twist lock outlets, British BS1363 13 amp fused 3-blade plug for United Kingdom outlets, or a two pin 16 amp rated Schuko plug with ground contact and socket for European outlets up to 250 V. Alternatively, we can provide flying leads with no plug for hard wire applications or for operators who prefer to wire in user provided cord caps. Please choose pigtail option below for flying leads with no plug.

This hand lamp has a compact fluorescent bulb so the operator doesn`t need to drag the ballast housing around. This can be particularly annoying when the transformer becomes entangled in the cord. This explosion proof fluorescent hand light comes standard with 220 Volts, 60 Hz operation for US voltages or 50 Hz for international voltages . This unit has a 2800K color temperature and so produces light that is warm white in color. The housing runs warm to the touch and the compact fluorescent lamp used with this unit provides 8,000 hours of lamp life.
