Buy American Compliant The EPL-EMG-24-2L-Ballast is the replacement ballast for our EPL-EMG-24-2L and EPL-EMG-24-4L series emergency fixtures and will operate with our T8 and T12 fluorescent bulbs. This universal input emergency ballast works in conjunction with an AC ballast to convert new or existing fluorescent fixtures into emergency lighting. The emergency ballast handles a wide range of input voltages and frequencies and consists of a high-temperature nickel-cadmium battery, charger and electronic circuitry in one compact case. The EPL-EMG-24-2L-Ballast will run a single lamp at 900 lumens for 90 minutes. The light recharges the battery once standard electrical power is restored. The ballast can be mounted on top of the fixture or in the fixture wire way. This ballast can be used with our T8 and T12 fluorescent lamps.
