Made in the USA The Larson Electronics MGL-HAL-110V-2KVA-220V-1X16A.309-25C Hazardous Location Power Distribution System converts single phase 110VAC electrical current to single phase 220VAC using a Class I, Division 2 transformer. This power distribution system provides operators the ability to safely tap into 110VAC power from a variety of sources including generators and direct grid power in Class I, Division 2 rated work sites. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO POWER DISTRIBUTION PANELS, TRANSFORMERS, OR SUBSTATIONS* Portable Power Distribution Purpose and UseThe MGL-HAL-110V-2KVA-220V-1X16A.309-25C portable power distribution system gives operators the ability to power their 220 volt equipment from a single system. On the primary side, operators connect single phase 110 volt line-in power via 25 feet of #16 SOOW cord with an IEC 60309 Class I, Division 2/Zone 2 rated cord cap. On the secondary side, operators connect to one 16-amp IEC 60309 Class I, Division 2/Zone 2 rated receptacle for 220V equipment. All receptacles are equipped with weatherproof covers. Operation: A 25-foot #16 SOOW cord with a 16-amp 130V IEC 60309 Class I, Division 2/Zone 2 rated cord cap brings 110V single phase power to the hazardous location transformer. The NEMA 3R 2KVA Class I, Division 2 transformer converts 110V to 220V single phase and passes the current to the secondary side of the system. The secondary side contains one 15-amp 2-pole 250V fuse protecting one 16-amp 250V IEC 60309 Class I, Division 2/Zone 2 rated receptacle. Protective Construction: The transformer and load center/distribution assembly is mounted to a standard upright steel dolly cart style frame resulting in an extremely stable, durable, and mobile power distribution platform. For even more stability, the MGL-HAL-110V-2KVA-220V-1X16A.309-25C features a rear-mounted kick stand that can easily be deployed when the unit is in the desired position. This kick stand increases the stability of this unit so that the risk of it being knocked over or falling down are almost completely eliminated. Two run-flat tires and a cart style mounting platform provides easier substation mobility. This temporary power distribution solution can be modified to meet the needs of job-site receptacle requirements. Units are available up to 150kva, and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Certification: Larson Electronics is a UL 1640 panel shop and certified to build portable power distribution systems. All units are built in accordance to NFPA 70 (National Electric Code) and certified to UL 1640. All equipment is NEMA 3R rated for indoor and outdoor use and provide a degree of protection against dirt, water, and ice. NEMA 4 and NEMA 4X equipment can be equipped upon request.
