Made in Texas The Larson Electronics MGS-480V.800A-75KVA-208Y.120V.150A-4X20A heavy duty 3-phase power distribution substation gives operators the ability to draw input voltage from 480V power sources through an 800 amp main breaker. The unit`s 75 KVA transformer then steps down the input voltage to 208Y/120V. On the secondary panel side, operators can plug in up to four 20-amp, 120V devices into the GFCI protected outlets. This unit provides an effective power source for operators performing plant maintenance, equipment installations and repairs. On the primary side, an 800-amp main lug 480/277V panel provides protection for the input voltage source and the 112.5 KVA 480-120/208Y transformer. On the secondary side, a 150-amp main breaker 120/208Y panel provides protection for four 125V rated, 20-amp, GFI protected 5-20R outlets with weatherproof covers. The panels and transformer are NEMA 3R rated. Unlike many portable power distribution boxes made of plastic and utilizing thin gauge, low grade metals in their construction, this unit is designed for serious use and is ruggedly constructed to withstand demanding conditions and heavy duty industrial applications. The transformer and load assembly is mounted on a 3/16" thick carbon steel mounting platform and the load center/distribution assembly is mounted to the standard 2" x 2" x 1/8" square carbon steel tubing frame, resulting in an extremely stable, durable and well protected power distribution platform. This model is equipped with forklift skid pockets, locking polyurethane casters, and a top located lifting eyelet allows easy lifting with cable or chain hooks. This can be replaced for an additional cost with stainless steel, hot dip galvanized steel, or aluminum depending on the customer`s needs. Larger units are available upon request and can be equipped with skids or trailer mounted. Applications: This power distribution system is ideal for indoor or outdoor use and applications including but not limited to, construction sites, plant maintenance, plant turnarounds, shows, exhibits, and shipyard operations.
