Made in the USA The Larson Electronics EPF-30-IBM Explosion Proof Circular Fan redirects and circulates air within hazardous locations. This explosion proof fan meets UL standards for hazardous areas and provides a high 8,723 CFM output for effective airflow in larger spaces. A sturdy I-beam clamp mount allows operators to install the unit on compatible supporting structures without drilling holes into the foundational surface. *PLEASE NOTE: ANY FREE SHIPPING OFFERS DO NOT APPLY TO THIS PRODUCT* The EPF-30-IBM is suitable for confined spaces and is approved for use within Class I, Divisions 1 & 2 and Class II, Divisions 1 & 2 hazardous locations. This fan features a high efficiency 1/4 HP motor which is fully encapsulated and a precision balanced, non sparking aluminum blade assembly for high output and protection against accidental ignitions. This fan has 30" propeller diameter and produces over 8,723 CFM of air output for excellent circulation of air in large areas. The EPF-30-IBM has an ambient temperature rating of 10¡ to 40¡C. This fan is rated for single phase 115/230V 60Hz and operates at 1,140 RPM. A cast aluminum junction box houses the fan motor and allows for electrical connections to the fan. Mounting: A custom designed I-beam mounting bracket allows for easy attachment of the fan to any I-beams (up to 12") commonly found in construction sites and civil engineering projects. The component’s ability to resist bending ensures stable cooling performance in rough environments. During installation, the mounting bracket slides over the beam’s horizontal flanges. After securing the preferred position on the I-beam, the operator can then tighten the position of the fan to the beam using the two adjustable handles. It is important to tighten both handles evenly and securely to prevent shaking or uneven positioning. Operators may reposition the fan on the beam by loosening the handles, moving the unit to the desired location and tightening the handles. Note: This mounting system comes in the following I-beam size options: 2", 3", 4", 5", 6", 7", 8", 9", 10" and 12". The orientation of the mounting component may also be customized to accomodate vertical or horizontal positioning (please select the preferred I-beam size and orientation below).
